Roller covers

In this case, the cover consists of plastic-linked profiles which are sealed airtight with end caps. This type is often mounted under water but can also be mounted on the edge of the bath, possibly with a casing. One of the main features of this type of cover is that it must be able to fall onto the water or move up from the tub in order to function. The cover cannot be dragged across the platform.

Folding cover

The folding cover system has been developed for large pools. Large water surfaces require a lot of covering material (foil or rollamel). For this amount of covering material, space is needed on the platform or, for example, a shaft can be made at the bottom of the pool. As an alternative to this, Inducon has developed the folding cover system. The cover is stored partly or completely, in a dry shaft, behind the bath. This is the only system for large baths that works automatically. Outside of supervision and guidance, this system does not need attention. 50 meters of pools can be covered in just over 10 minutes with this system. Because it takes hardly any effort or time to operate the cover, this type of cover is used much more often than, for example, a (large) film cover that requires more time and therefore saves more energy.
